Social Responsibility and Awareness
At LECO Earth, social responsibility lies at the heart of everything we do. Since our inception in 2009, we have been deeply committed to empowering communities and promoting sustainable practices. Over the years, we have trained more than 1,500 women in rural areas, helping them develop valuable skills in eco-friendly product making and enabling them to achieve financial independence.
Through our initiatives, over 50 women-led enterprises have been successfully established, creating lasting livelihood opportunities and fostering self-reliance among women artisans.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, LECO Earth extended its support to the community through various charitable activities, including the distribution of essential goods, masks, and sanitizers, while continuing to provide work opportunities to women artisans during difficult times.
As part of our mission to promote environmental awareness, we regularly participate in fairs and exhibitions organized by the State and National Jute Boards and other government authorities, showcasing sustainable jute, cotton, and eco-friendly alternatives to plastic.
